Gathered inside the Amsterdam offices of Sid Lee, the next generation of young creatives got to met a bunch of us creative directors to show their work and get valuable feedback. The event went brilliantly and I’m sure some creatives will get jobs from the meetings that they had.
Personally for me, I got to meet:
Two great creative teams from the UK, a talented team from Italy, a Dutch designer with a lovely idea for a board game, a Dutch creative team who will be snapped up in no time, a Portuguese copywriter who really wants a new art partner, a Danish copywriter with some great fresh thinking and a Portuguese art director who will have a great book if he just tweaks it a tad further.
I also got to meet and talk with Ignacio Oreamuno from ihaveanidea.org. who was a key figure in getting this successful night up and running. For more information on what all the fuss is/was about at Portfolio Night go to the Portfolio Night website.
